Sometimes it’s the photos in between the photos which carry the most magic. Clara was feeling a bit left out when it was her brother’s turn to be photographed, but because the lighting was just perfect this shot made the cut immediately. It’s the little ‘moments’ which are really important with families, to try and turn photos into little snapshots of personalities as well as be a representation of what a person, and family, looks like.

Who do photographers turn to for their family portraits? Kimberly and Mark hadn’t had a chance to do a family portrait due to covid…and this was particularly problematic as the family had a new addition! We organised a shoot and catchup BBQ lunch after making some precious memories which, we’re reliably told, have gone straight to the pool room!

It’s all about the family – that’s probably why they are called family portraits! So if you want your family photo to be all about you, come to the studio and plonk down on the floor and make it happen like the Chivell’s did. We offer same day service for family portraits, where you choose the photos you want on the day. We then take care of editing, printing and framing for you. You can then choose to come back and pick up your photos a few days later, or we can deliver them to you.
